Yajnas and Yuga dharmas
Learn the universal Sacrifice Yajna

Different times in history, mankind divided eternal time into sections called Yugas. Each Yuga has its duration and different characterisitcs. One of them is a particular system for self realization.

The INBOUND school of Yoga practices all four Yuga processes as an introduction to the most recommended process of Sankirtan Yoga. Sankirtan Yoga is a unique process of including all souls in the Divine vibration of the congregational chanting of the names of the infinite Lord.
There is no space for elitism or prejudice in this Yoga system. This system rejects institutionalism, dogmatism, egotism and ritualism. Only after a period of deep reflection and purification can any soul practice pure Sankirtan Yoga.

The Golden age process for self realization was the practice of meditation.
The silver age process for Self realization was the practice of sacrifices to invoke the blessings of divinity.

The copper age process for self realization was the practice of worship in the temples of the Lord.
The present age called the iron age has, for the process of self realization, the Samkirtan Yoga.

Our program offers short experiences of the different processes. We meditate together for five minutes by focusing on the universal sound of the Mantra OM with closed eyes and the spinal column in a straight position while we breath deeply.

Next we move to the Fire Yajna.

Agni Hotra Yajnas purifies the atmosphere and the participants. With the proper mantras purified Ghee is offered into the fire ignited with dry cow dung. (Full description is in the Guide for Samskaras.)

All desires are satisfied in the practices of self realization. At the same time we shall try not to get side-tracked by our many desires and thus lose sight of the final goal of all Yogas. There are many secrets hidden along the path of a Yogi. What is promoted as a great possibility is later transcended by the natural growth of the student. Again and again, we are asked whether we want more and whether we are ready to dive deeper into our natural reality.

A higher taste will develop and the ecstacy experienced will pull us deeper and deeper. Where will it stop?. That remains be known by the pure lovers of the truth. The fully self- realized masters of Yoga.

Agni Hotra Yajnas accompany the vows, offerings and purifications.

Next we will learn how to worship. The natural way of worship has been part of humanity since time immemorial. It creates harmony and expresses our thankfulness to Mother Earth. Included as objects of worship are the light of the sun and the moon, the other living entities such as our parents, great powerful beings and sages. Then we will worship eternal time and realize the power of death as the supervising agent in the process of repeated birth and death. Next we will worship the divine truth in its different manifestations.

First we will worship the impersonal aspect of Brahman which is the all pervading energy of the Supreme Lord and is invoked by the mantra: Aham Brahmasmi

Then we worship the Supreme Master in all hearts, the protector of all and guiding angel, as the inner voice called Paramatma. We will worship Him by invoking His mercy as we recite the mantra 15:15 of the Bhagavad Gita.
Verses and translation here:

Sarvasya caham hrdi sannivisto
Matrah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca
Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyo
Vedanta-krd veda-vid eva caham

I am seated in everyone's heart and from me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of the Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas.

Finally we will worship the Supreme Lord in his supreme form of mercy for all.

We do that by chanting the famous mantra from the Brahma Samhita : Isvarah parama Krishna-Sat cit ananda Vigraha= anadir adir govinda- sarva karana karanam

Krishna who is knows as Govinda is the supreme personality of godhead, He has a transcendental body full of eternity knowledge and bless, He is the origin of all what is existing . He has no other origin because He is the primeval cause of all causes.

After performing the complete circle of worships with flower and incense preferably in front of our portable altar we get ready for the process of Sankirtan Yoga.
